Kanyakumari

Situated on the southernmost tip of Indian, Kanyakumari is also known as “Cape of Comorin”. Surrounded by Ocean and with a vast coastline, Kanyakumari is known for its rich culture and religious importance. The confluence of The Arabian Sea, The Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean gives phenomenal view of the vast blue endless ocean. Kanyakumari has lot of temples which are visited by lot of pilgrims the whole year around. Some of the popular holy temples are Kanyakumari Temple, Chitharal Hill Temple and Jain Monuments, Nagaraj Temple, Subramanya temple and Triunandhikarai temple. Other main attractions of the city are Vivekanada Rock Memorial, Vattakotlai fort, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vavathurai and Gandhi Museum. Kanyakumari is also popular for its clean and neat beaches. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset by visiting these beautiful beache. The popular beaches are Sanguthurai Beach, Thengapattinam Beach and Sothavilai Beach. Rich culture and history adds a charm to this small coastal town.
