Itinerary for a traveler to travel Golden Triangle

India’s Golden Triangle is a tourist circuit between Delhi-Agra-Jaipur, it is called so because Delhi-Uttar Pradesh-Rajasthan makes a triangular shape on a map of India. Trips usually start from Delhi then to South sighting beautiful Taj Mahal of Agra then West to the land of kings Rajasthan. This circuit is about 720 kilometers, around 4 to 6 hours of drive from each destination. For travelers, trains are easily available which lessens the time of journey. This journey also captures the spectacular, fascinating and passionate world of Mughals to Maharajas. Travelers will witness the world’s best architecture from the Qutab Minar in Delhi to the Amer Fort in Jaipur and of course the Taj Mahal in Agra. This journey will cover most of the incredible experience of India.

Delhi: Capital of history

Delhi is known as the capital of the country but it is also popular for its vast culture, cuisines, festivals, art and how can I forget shopping. While at Delhi, enjoy sighting Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate, and Humayun’s Tumb. You can walk through the roads of Old Delhi, mostly known as Chandani Chowk you will find narrow alleys filled with stalls and everything one can ever imagine. A foodie can’t be deprived of food on the streets of Delhi as these stalls offer the world’s best food with multiple food varieties, the best of them are the paranthas and mouth-watering kebabs that no one can resist of.

Must visit the site is massive Jama Masjid. It’s a beautiful blend of curved white marble and red sandstone make this monument most worth to visit. Wander through the courtyard and catch a glimpse of the Redfort in distance.

In the evening, travelers can head back to Redfort for popular light and sound show which is one of it’s kind, it reveals the glory of the nation by its multiple colored lights and amazing music. After this terrific show, you must snack on chaat and enjoy the carnival atmosphere.

AGRA: City in the banks of Yamuna

Next morning drive to Agra. On the way, stop to Fatehpur Sikri. It is the ancient fortified city that was once the capital of the Mughal empire. Fort provides an insight into the life of a great warrior Ashoka. Take your time and explore the city before leaving for Agra.

Agra situated in the banks of river Yamuna. The best-visited monument in Agra is the Taj Mahal which included in the new Seven Wonder of the World. Agra is commonly identified as the ‘City Of Taj’. Taj Mahal is simply breathtaking, best in architecture. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial for his beloved wife Mumtaz.

If time left, visit Agra fort where his ruthless son Aurangzeb held Shah Jahan captive, where he would gaze across the river to the Taj Mahal and remember his beautiful Mumtaz.

JAIPUR: The city of royalty

Now time for royal and full of Raja and Rani journey of Rajasthan. Now we are heading to Jaipur capital of Rajasthan.

Travelers for Jaipur, you have to start your journey early in the morning. To start Old City is the best to visit. Old Jaipur is full of hustle-bustle but you will have the chance to visit iconic Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal is also known as ‘The Palace Of Winds’. The Old City is the best to visit. Old Jaipur is full of hustle-bustle but you will have a place is mainly famous for its windows or jharokhas.

The next stop is the city palace which is not so far from Hawa Mahal. City Palace is a divine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The Palace attracts your glimpse by the perfect combination of bright colors that showcase each season, it represents the royalty of Maharajas.

Travelers for Jaipur you have to start your journey early in the morning. For the start, If you have enough time do visit Jantar Mantar, which collects the most interesting and fascinating scientific instrument. Jantar Mantar has the world’s largest stone Sundial which included in the UNESCO World Heritage site, so I suggest you visit Jantar Mantar.

Jaipur also gives a wonderful Amer Fort. It is about 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Amer Fort greatly influenced by Mugal architecture constructed of Redstone and marble. It consists of ravishing the Diwan-e-Asam, the Diwan-e-Khas, the Sheesh Mahal and the Sukh Niwas. From the top of Amer Fort, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the city. Wander through the town behind the Palace before heading back to Jaipur. Take out some time and do some shopping in Jaipur. The area is famous for its unique, ethnic jewels and handicraft. Have a great dinner with Dal Batti Churma which is the most famous food in Rajasthan.

The next morning is ready to head back to the capital of India, Delhi and here the journey of the Golden Triangle of India comes to an end, with amazing and blissful memories.
