Sony Unveils PlayStation Vita Handheld Console

Sony Corporation has launched its next-generation PlayStation Vita handheld console in Japan on Saturday.

PS Vita has a five-inch, organic LED touch screen and it comes with WiFi and 3G models.

On the occasion of its launch, Andrew House, head of Sony’s game unit, said, “Pre-orders are very strong.”

PS Vitas will be launched in the US and European market on February 2012.
