Sony launches Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact in India

The much awaited high-end latest smartphones from Sony – Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact -were launched in India on Thursday.

With new sleek design, effective hardware and smart display alongside improvised protection features, both the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact are ready to attract customers in India.

While Sony has Priced Xperia Z3 at Rs 51,990, the Xperia Z3 compact is available at Rs 44,990.

Based on Sony’s Omnibalance unibody design – the Xperia Z3 has been made using aluminum on sides and the Z3 compact comes with attractive plastic sides.

The devices come with fantastic water, dust and scratch resistant glass with exclusive Triluminos display with X-Reality Engine for optimized display.

Powered by 2.5Ghz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, both the devices run on Android KitKat OS. While the 5.2 inch Xperia Z3 comes with two storage options of 16 and 32 GB, the Xperia Z3 compact has 16 GB internal  memory. In both cases, the memory is expandable up to 128 GB via MicroSD card. The Xperia Z3 has 3GB RAM and Xperia Z3 compact has 2 GB RAM.
Both Xperia Z3and Xperia Z3 compact feature 20.7MP primary camera with 4K video recording facility.

The handsets are available in all major retails in India.
