Sony launches Xperia Tablet Z in India at Rs 46,990

Sony has launced the Xperia Tablet Z in India at at Rs 46,990. Claiming to be the world’s thinnest design at 6.9 mm only, sony Xperia Tablet Z comes with 10.1 inch 1920X1200p WUXGA display with a mobile Bravia Engine 2.

While speaking on the launching ceremony, Xperia Product Manager Mukesh Srivastava said, “Weighing 495 grams, the tablet is available in black in HSPA+ and WIFI versions and it is the first tablet to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro asynchronous quad-core processor.”

Xperia Tablet Z is powered by  Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and it has 1.5 GHz asynchronous quad CPUs. It has an inbuilt 16 GB memory and can expand to another 16 GB memory via card slot. It has 2 GB RAM and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is upgradable to 4.2.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z comes with 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel  front-end camera.

The new Xperia Tablet Z tablet is available in all retail stores in India.
