Samsung unveils Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3

Korean electronics giant Samsung has unveiled its slimmest smartphones – Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3. The mid-tier entry-level Android smartphones comes with colors and made on full-metal unibody.

Samsung is desperate to win the war against Chinese cheap handset maker Xiaomi in Asia.

The phone will be available in China from November, however, the company yet to disclose the pricing.

Samsung Galaxy A5

Samsung Galaxy A5 comes with 5″ HD Super AMOLED screen. It is 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7mm thick and 123 grams in weight. Galaxy A5 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It has 2GB of RAM along with 16GB in-built memory with microSD card slot.

Galaxy A5 sports 13MP primary camera, 5MP secondary camera. It is powered by a 2,300mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A3

130.1 x 65.5 x 6.9mm thick and 110.3 grams weightwise, Samsung Galaxy A3 comes with 4.5” qHD Super AMOLED screen. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI.

It has 8GB in-built memory with microSD card slot and 1GB RAM. Galaxy A5 features 8MP primary camera, 5MP secondary camera. It is powered by a 1900mAh battery.
