Samsung recently took the wraps off the new Tab E in Taiwan and now the Tab E has made its way to India. The Tab has the voice calling ability and is priced at Rs. 16,900.
The Tab E comes with 3G and voice calling support and houses a 9.6 inch WXGA (1280 X 800) TFT display, under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor chipset (make unknown) and 1.5 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded with the help of a Micro SD card up to 128 GB.
For the shutter bugs the tablet also features a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie camera which will suffice to all the video calling needs. There is a 5,000 mAh battery to support the device. The usual connectivity options remain as usual with WiFi, Bluetooh, etc. being present.
On software front the tab runs on android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s own TouchWizUx, a custom user interface on top of it. Samsung is offering few offers with the Tab E to motivate customers to buy the tab. Galaxy Tab E buyers will get free 3G data on Vodafone. Prepaid customers get additional 1GB of free data for 2 months when getting 1GB of free data.
