OnePlus launched the OnePlus X in India recently. It’s the company’s cheapest phone available till date and is priced at ?16, 999. The OnePlus X has been launched in 2 variants, namely the OnePlus X onyx and the OnePlus X ceramic.
As of the specifications are concerned the OnePlus X sports a 5 inch Full HD AMOLED display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 801 processor, chipset couple with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, but this time the OnePlus X houses a hybrid slot, which can either be used as a SIM or a micro SD slot. So basically one can either use it as a dual SIM phone with only 16 GB of storage or a single SIM phone with an expandable storage of up to 128 GB using a SD card.
For the shutterbugs the OnePlus X houses a 13 MP ISOCELL camera at the back with Phase Detection Auto Focus. And at the front to click selfies is a 8 MP f/2.4 sensor.
Like the OnePlus two the OnePlus X too has a physical notification slider somewhat like the iPhone, which lets the user decide which notifications to allow. Connectivity-wise the phone has 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS along with the rest of common options. It runs on oxygen OS, which is based on android 5.1.1
The OnePlus X also includes a FM Radio, and a 2,525mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. Both the models are exclusive to Amazon and will be sold via the invite system initially which will be banished after a month in favor of weekly open sales. The OnePlus X only will be available from November 5 while the limited edition OnePlus X ceramic will be available 24th November onwards. The OnePlus X ceramic is a limited edition and only 10,000 pieces will be available.
