YotaPhone is set to rock our world with its innovative concept of dual-screen smartphone. Android-based Dual-Screen is indeed a brilliant looking phone which is set to hit the market in coming December. Russia-based Yota Devices has confirmed to launch its ‘split personality’ phone before Christmas.
The YotaPhone is surely looking ahead to win many hearts with its exemplary model. Yota Devices chief executive Vlad Martynov said that YotaPhone represents “a whole new archetype in smartphones”.
The front of the said YotaPhone features a traditional LCD screen but the back sports home to a power-sipping e-ink display. The best part of the idea is that users can use the colour LCD display like a common Android phone and read news or get notifications at the rear e-paper display without having to activate their phone and of course saving battery.
The 4G connected YotaPhone comes with a 4.3-inch screen with 1280p HD display. It is powered by 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus (MSM8960) chip and 2GB of RAM. YotaPhone features 1800mAh battery and 12-megapixel camera. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and comes with 16/32 GB variant.
Although, Yota has not announced any price tag yet, but reports are suggesting that YotaPhone will cost around 20,000 rubles (approx £380).
