Nexus 5 and new Nexus 7 officially launched in India

The much-awaited Nexus 5 has launched in India today. Google is offering Nexus 5 16GB variant for Indian market at 28,999 from their play store. The price for 32GB variant is listed at Rs 32,999.

Strangely the retails stores are selling this 16 GB Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone at Rs 29,999 –  exactly Rs 1000 more than what Google play stores are offering.  It is available in two colours – white and black.

Google also selling accessories like multiple-colored bumper cases for Nexus 5 at Rs 2,499 and a QuickCover from LG at Rs 3,299.

Google also launched new 16 GB Wi-Fi version of Nexus 7 in India today. With thinner, lighter, and faster, the 7-inch tab is available at Rs. 20,999. The  32 GB variant is available at Rs 23,999.

The new Google Nexus 7 runs on 4.3 Android OS and is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.

LG Google Nexus 5, an Android smartphone comes with 5 inch IPS LCD Display with Multitouch Capacitive Touchscreen.
