After the success of the Moto G 3rd generation, Motorola have launched a newer improved version dubbed as the Moto G Turbo Edition. The new Moto G is priced at ?14,499.
As of the specifications go the Moto G Turbo edition houses the same 5 inch 720p HD display which we previously saw on the Moto G 3rd generation. The screen is protected by gorilla glass 3. The significant change between the Moto g 3rd gen and Moto G turbo edition is under the hood with the turbo edition running on Snapdragon 615 Octa-core chipset while the Moto G 3rd gen ran on Snapdragon 410 quad-core chipset. There aren’t any memory options with the turbo edition which has 16 GB of internal storage with 2 GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded using a micro SD card up to 32 GB.
For the shutterbugs the Moto g turbo edition retains the same 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front selfie camera. Connectivity stays the usual with Dual Sim 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS etc.
The main USP of the device is its quick charging ability which claims to charge it’s 2,470 mAh battery pretty fast. Moto claims that the device can get up to 6 hours of usage from a 15 minute charge.
