Microsoft launched its cheapest 4G smartphone in India, Lumia 638 at Rs 8,299.
Powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, the phone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. It comes with 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It has 1 GB RAM.
Lumia 638 features 4.5-inch screen, 5MP camera and 1,830 mAh battery which claimed to provide over 16 hours talk-time.
“We are introducing Lumia 638 which is the most affordable 4G smartphone on Windows Phone 8.1. It aims to address the consumers demand for a device that lets them enjoy uninterrupted video content,” Raghuvesh Sarup, Nokia India Sales Director Marketing ((a Microsoft Mobile Oy subsidiary) told reporters.
