HTC launches Desire 500 in Taiwan

HTC launched much awaited new smartphone Desire 500 on Tuesday in Taiwan.

 HTC Desire 500 comes with 800 x 480 resolution screen with 4.3-inch WVGA display. Look wise the phone is quite similar to its flagship device HTC One S.

The Desire 500 runs on 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and Android operating system. It has 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel auto focus camera and internal storage of 4GB. The memory is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

The Desire 500 weighs 123 gm and has 1800 mAh battery.

The phone will be available in Taiwan from August 1 and approximate retail price is around It is priced at $400.
