Honor Bee launched at Rs. 4,999

Along with the Honor 4C Huawei also launched the Honor Bee which is a low priced phone with a solid set of specifications. The phone is priced at Rs. 4,999 and will also be available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Honor Bee has a 4.5 inch FWVGA (854x 480) and is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor paired with Mali-400 GPU, there is 1 GB of ram and 8 Gb of internal storage which again is expandable with the help of a micro SD card. Spreadtrum isn’t a very popular name in the chipset world and is generally used in the low cost low powered phones so the performance here is doubtable as to whether or not it will be up to the mark with the other big names in the industry .

The Bee also boasts of a 8MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and a 2 MP front facing shooter. The phone is powered by a 1730 mAh battery which might not be enough to get you through the day. The phone sails on android 4.4 kitkat with the same Emotion UI 3.0 like the Honor 4C. The usual connectivity options remain the same being WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G etc. the phone has dual sim capabilities and 4G LTE is not supported.

At this price the direct competition it has is the canvas spark which is better in almost all the aspects over the Honor bee.
