Google launches the most awaited smartphone Nexus 5

Finally Google has launched its much-awaited LG Nexus 5 today at $349 for 16GB variation. The 32GB variant will be available at $399. Both devices will be available shortly. With Nexus 5, Google has also unveiled Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

“People generally launch new versions of operating systems and they need more memory. Not with KitKat. We’ve taken it and made it run all the way back on entry level phones. We have one version of the OS that’ll run across all Android smartphones in 2014,” Android chief Sundar Pichai said.

The Nexus 5 comes with black and white colours and is the first device built with Android 4.4 or KitKat operating system.

The Nexus 5 is Google’s first HDR+ mobile which allow its camera to take multiple photos in sequence. The Nexus 5 provides Google Search option to every page.

LG Google Nexus 5, an Android smartphone comes with 5 inch IPS LCD Display with Multitouch Capacitive Touchscreen. Nexus 5 is claimed to be the fastest devices in the world with 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and Adreno 330 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Android UI. Nexus 5 has 16/32 GB Internal Storage and 2 GB RAM. It features 8 megapixel primary OIS Camera with utofocus Lens.  Nexus 5 will have 2300 mAh Li-Ion Battery, Wireless Charging & Notification Light.
