Asus launches ZenFone C at Rs. 5,999

Asus has launched yet another budget phone in a month-time in India. The new smartphone,  Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) is currently available with Flipkart at Rs. 5,999.

On the launching occasion, Peter Chang, Regional Head, South Asia & Country Manager, System Business Group, Asus India, said, “Redefining the smartphone experience for consumers at affordable price points is the new ZenFone C. It incorporates the strategic features of the range like a sublime interface and seamless functionality that has already captured a sizeable portion of the tech-savvy market. Combining finely crafted design with ace performance; this is a pocket friendly device that makes for an incredible customer experience.”

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the dual-SIM Asus ZenFone C (ZC451CG) comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 resolutions. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology. It has 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card and 1 GB RAM.

The Asus ZenFone C features 5-megapixel rear autofocus primary camera. It is powered by 2100mAh battery which promised to deliver 29.8 hours of 3G talk-time and up to 260 hours of standby time.

The smartphone is available in Black, White and Red colours.
