Apple launches iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c

Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled two much awaited iphones – iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in Cupertino, California.

Based on iOS7 software, Apple’s new offerings will be available from 20th September in US and European market.

The budget iPhone 5C comes with 4-inch retina display, 8 megapixel camera and runs on A6 processor. It has 2 memory version. While 16GB with cost $549, the 32GB will be around $649. iPhone  5C will be available in 5 colours – green, yellow, blue, white and pink.

The iPhone 5S is the first ever 64-bit A7 processor built in a smartphone. It has finger print scanner ‘touch ID’ on  home button. ‘Touch Id” is 170 microns thin, senses 500 ppi, scans sub-epidermal skin layers. The iPhone 5S will be available in black, silver and gold colours.  The device will be in three variants. While 16GB will cost around $649, the 32GB will be priced at $749 and 64GB will come at $849.
