Apple launches 8GB iPhone 5c in India

Apple has launched much-awaited iPhone 5c –the cheap iPhone in Indian market on Saturday.  The 8GB version of iPhone 5c will be available at Rs 37,500.

We are wondering why Apple is calling it cheap as the 8GB version of the iPhone 5c which costs Rs. 37,500, ($640) is actually only 4,000 ($68) lower than the 16GB version 5c. It’s not logical at all to spend this much amount to a limited smartphone, no matter how much they say “unapologetically plastic”.

Apple will definitely find it difficult to push iPhone 5c in the Indian market. It will get tough fight from Motorola Moto G, Nokia Lumia, Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG G2 and Intex which are available at much cheaper rate than Apple 5c and with much more advanced feature.
