Zopo mobile the Sino smartphone giant has entered in the Indian market with the launch of its new product the Zopo Speed 7. The phone is priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be available exclusively from Snapdeal from the first week of September. Zopo had collaborated with Adcom which will act as its distributor, seller, marketer and service manager in India.
As of the specifications go the device comes with a 5 inch Full HD 1080p display panel, there is a 1.5 GHz 64 bit octa-core processor chipset made by MediaTek to power the device. The phone also comes with 16 GB of internal memory and 3 GB of RAM to keep the device running smoothly, the memory can further be expanded upto 32 GB with the help of a Micro SD card.
On the photography front there is a 13.2 MP rear camera with 5P lens and LED flash while the front of the phone sports a 5 MP selfie camera. On the connectivity front the phone houses 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, although the phone comes with 4G LTE it only supports FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) which is not yet used by any operators in India. The phone also has gesture support.
The phone runs on android lollipop under Zopo’s own custom UI known as Z UI. There is a 2500 mAh battery to power the phone. The company has partnered with Adcom which has over 200 service centers in India which will provide support for Zopo mobiles in India.
