Sachin Tendulkar’s love affair with Australian bowlers continues!
Sachin Tendulkar rescue the Indian team from early tremble as he carries the Indian innings on his shoulder with his fine knock of unbeaten 71. India ends the day with 182 for 3 at stumps in reply to Australia’s 380 on day 2.
India lost 2 quick wickets – Murali Vijay (10) and Virender Sehwag (2) for just 12 runs. Tendulkar came to crease and concentrate on consolidating the innings with Cheteshwar Pujara (44). They put 93 runs partnership.
After Pujara’s departure he and Virat Kohli (50*) carry forward the innings with partnership of unbeaten 77.
Earlier in the day R Ashwin got 7 wickets for 103 as Australia were bowled out for 380. Australian captain Michael Clarke made 130.
