Amit Mishra’s career-best six wicket haul helped India to clinch 5-0 series win against host Zimbabwe on Saturday.
Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and asked Zimbabwe to bat first. India bowled out the host for 163 in 39.5 overs as spinner Amit Mishra took six wickets for 48. For Zimbabwe Sean Williams (51) scored the highest runs. They had lost their last five wickets for just 41 runs.
India achieved the target of 164 in 34 overs, losing 3 wickets. Although Cheteshwar Pujara was out for 0 in the very first over, but remaining Indian batsmen easily over past the target.
Sekhar Dhawan made 41, Ajinkya Rahane scored 50 and Ravindra Jadeja remains not out on 48.
This is India’s first-ever five-match ODI series whitewash in overseas.
