India A clinch the tri-series trophy after beating Australia A by 50 runs in the final at at the LC de Villiers Oval on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day India won the toss and opted to bat first. The opening pair of Rohit Sharma (6) and Cheteshwar Pujara (1) were out cheaply. Suresh Raina (17) disappointed fans once again. Dinesh Karthik (73) scored highest for India A. In-form batsman Shikhar Dhawan was out for 62. India managed 243 in 49.2 overs.

Led by pacer Mohammed Shami Indian bowler came heavily on Australian batsmen and did not give any chance to come back to the match.
