It was a good for India so far at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Shooter Jitu Rai has won men’s 50-metre pistol gold and Gurpal Singh clinched the silver in the same event. Rai won the gold with Commonwealth Games record.
Shooter Gagan Narang also won silver in 50m Prone Rifle and took India to the fourth place in the medal tally behind Australia, England and Scotland.
Shooter Shreyasi Singh clinched the double trap silver, while Mohammed Asab won the bronze.
In weightlifting Sathish Sivalingam won the gold and Ravi Katulu the silver. Punam Yadav alos picked up a bronze in weightlifting.
