More trouble is ahead for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as the Delhi Secretariat employees threaten to protest against AAP government if their demands are not fulfilled within stipulated time.
Delhi Secretariat employees have said that if their three demands – urgent implementation of the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, regularisation of their job contracts and clearing of all pending dues – are not met soon then they will start indefinite protest from February 11.
The news comes at a day when the Supreme Court has accepted PIL against Arvind Kejriwal for his over 30 hour dharna against some policemen outside Rail Bhavan in New Delhi early this week. The Apex Court has also issued a notice to the Delhi government and the Centre over this matter. Kejriwal is also under severe pressure for inaction against his Law Minister Somnath Bharti, who recently conducted midnight raid on a house of a Ugandan woman over suspicion that illegal activities.
