After winning the Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) elections,
Shiv Sena extended its friendly hands to its on-and-off-friend BJP by saying “let bygones be bygones”.
Shiv Sena has fallen short of majority and now need either Raj Thackeray’s MNS or BJP to form the board.
Through its editorial in ‘Saamna’, Sena said, “A lot of accusation and counter accusations were made and lot of things said during campaigning. But let bygones be bygones. We should focus of development of Kalyan now.”
We have not heard any comments yet from BJP’s side which has emerged as second largest party with 42 seats, 10 seats behind Sena in 122-member body. However, some sources in the party said state unit of BJP was not happy hearing
Uddhav Thackeray’s yesterday’s comment in which he said, Shiv Sena won despite the entire Maharashtra cabinet including Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had campaigned against them.
