Rail Minister Bansal’s nephew arrested in bribery case

CBI has arrested Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal’s nephew Vijay Singla on Friday for accepting a bribery of Rs 90 lakh from a Railway Board member for setting a top level position in the railways.

CBI also arrested senior railway officer Mahesh Kumar, who took charge as member of the Railway Board on Thursday and Sandip Goyal for mediating the deal.

CBI has registered a case of criminal misconduct and corruption  against Kumar.

Vijay Singla was arrested in Chandigarh for taking the bribe in cash from Manjunath who wanted to get a top position in the railways.

CBI has  seized Rs 90 lakh cash in Delhi.
