Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has discussed a possible pre-poll alliance with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday in Delhi. Both the leaders have shown eagerness to complete the alliances in Bihar soon, so that they can focus on campaigning.
It was surprising move by Congress as people close to Rahul Gandhi know that he does not like Lalu Prasad who is currently out of jail after getting bail in fodder scam case. If congress go ahead to form the alliance with RJD, then Rahul’s recent stand as the anti-corruption crusader will hit a toll and his image will be in jeopardy.
Lalu, however, continues praising Rahul Gandhi. Last week he said BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are ‘nothing’ in front of Congress party’s Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
“Rahul Gandhi is Rahul Gandhi. You (media) guys have put them (Kejriwal, Modi) on the moon. It is you, who give them publicity. What have they done so far,” Lalu told reporters.
