Good news for the consumers. Oil companies have cut down petrol and diesel prices by Rs 2.41 and Rs. 2.25 per litre respectively from Friday midnight. The new prices are announced following fall in international crude oil prices to about USD 85 a barrel.
This is the sixth consecutive cut since August 2014 for petrol and first since the Modi government deregularised diesel prices. Only in few days back, the price of petrol was slashed by Rs 2 per litre.
Till Friday the petrol price was Rs 66.65 per litre in Delhi
