To take benefit from the ‘chaiwala’ jibe, Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will begin his ‘Chai pe charcha’ drive from Wednesday.
Under this campaign NaMO communicate with common people over a cup of tea and discuss range of issues. Modi will visit a tea stall either in person or through DTH, satellite service and social media and talk with people over a cup of tea. The ‘Chai pe charcha’ campaign will be held at 1,000 tea stalls in 300 cities across India.
“Of these 1,000 locations, direct interaction will take place with people from 30 locations in which people can share, ask and and suggest their views on the ongoing election campaign,” BJP spokesperson Harshad Patel informed media.
Modi has chosen good governance as the subject for Wednesday’s “Chai pe charcha”.
