After meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh yesterday, Li Keqiang said, “India is China’s important neighbour. On Sunday, PM Manmohan Singh and I had a productive session. With this visit, I hope that both sides increase mutual strategic trust.”
“And likewise the development of prosperity of the world cannot be a reality without the cooperation and simultaneous development of China and India,” Li Keqiang told media on Monday.
“The purpose of my current visit to India is three fold — to increase mutual trust, to intensify cooperation and to face the future,” Li Keqiang further said.
Two leaders have also agreed to work more to resolve the border issue soon so that Ladakh incident won’t be repeated.
