The Congress and Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra have completed the seat-sharing for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls. The announcement came after a successful meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and NCP president Sharad Pawar in Delhi.
While the Congress will contest in 27 parliamentary constituencies, NCP will fight from 21 seats out of total 48 seats in the state.
The only significant change this time is that Congress and NCP have exchanged Raigad and Hingoli Lok Sabha seats. While Youth Congress president Rajiv Satav will fight from Hingoli this time and NCP’s Sunil Tatkare will contest the election from Raigad.
