The CBI has questioned key aide of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, TKA Nair, in coal scam case.

CBI questions key PM advisor TKA Nair in coal scamA special CBI team on Saturday has questioned then T K A Nair for his role in the coal blocks allotment scam. Nair was principal secretary to Manmohan Singh from 2006-2009 when he was handling coal ministry.

The CBI team mostly asked the questions on why coal blocks had not been auctioned, whether he has any knowledge on the missing coal files and on the process to the Talabira coal block being given to Hindalco.
