TCS to hire 20,000 employees in next 3 months

India’s largest software service provider Tata Consultancy Services is expected to hire 20,000 employees during second quarter. CEO & MD of TCS, Mr. MD N Chandresekaran said, “The company during second quarter is expected to hire 17,000 to 20,000 people,” Also the company is looking forward to hire about 60,000 staffs in the current financial. The present headcount is 202190 till June 30th.

TCS is planning to hire 20,000 headcount with 55% fresh hiring and 45% lateral (mid to higher level) hiring.  TCS added 3576 staff in the April-June quarter.

TCS had added 24 new clients in its first quarter which eventually helps them to register a stunning 28% growth in net profit.  TCS is now chasing 12 large deals in the US, UK and in some parts of Europe.
