Shiv Menon, deceased Sunanda Pushkar’s son from her second marriage, was interrogated by the Delhi police SIT, in the on-going death probe. Menon, arrived in Delhi on Wednesday, after being summoned for interrogation into the case.
Previously, Journalists Nalini Singh and Rahul Kanwal, and politician Amar Singh were interrogated by the SIT. Also, the police by-far, have interrogated almost 15 people in connection to the case.
In January 2015, the police had pointed out her death was unusual and registered a case of murder. They feel as Sunanda might have been poisoned. On January 17, 2014, Sunanda Pushkar (52) was found dead in her suite in a five star hotel named The Leela in south Delhi. She died just a few days after she publicly accused her husband Shashi Tharoor and Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar of having an affair.
