Pak TV channels faces Rs 10 million penalty for excessive Indian content

According to PTI, Ten Pakistani television channels have been fined with Rs 10 million for telecasting excessive Indian and foreign content.

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) have imposed the penalty on the channels like Hum TV, Oxygen TV, Play TV, Kohinoor Entertainment, TV One Entertainment, NTV Entertainment, GXM Entertainment, Jalwa Entertainment for airing too much Indian contents and asked to restrain in future.

PEMRA gives permission to air only 10 percent foreign content. Out of 10 percent, channels can telecast up to 60% Indian content.
