With Barack Obama visiting Indian in a few day’s time, the Indian government has ensured top-notch security for the US president accordingly. Along with the security measures, an unspecified Delhi-Agra road will be sanitized and secured as an emergency backup, as a precautionary measure if the jet fails to take off due to bad climate or any other apparent reason.
This, however, has been planned as an emergency measure that will be implemented only an hour prior to his estimated time of departure.
Though no alerts have been issued from the US or the Indian information agencies, there are possibilities of curfew or riots to break out in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, that could be recalled similar to the incident occurred during Clinton’s visit in 2000.
Talking about the security measures, orders have been issued to shut the nearby government offices as early as one in the afternoon on the 25th along with several other measures.
Many pivotal issues are to be discussed between the two nations during this visit of the US president.
