Imran Khan off-loaded from a US-bound flight

Former Pakistan cricket team captain and Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Imran Khan was taken off  from a US-bound plane at Toronto International airport in Canada.

The incident took place on Friday when Imran Khan was going to New York to attend a fundraiser in Long Island.

Imran Khan said the incident was directly linked to his criticism of the US government for drone attacks in Pakistan’s Waziristan province.

Imran tweeted saying, “I was taken off from plane and interrogated by US Immigration in Canada on my views on drones. My stance is known. Drone attacks must stop.”

As per CNN-IBN he was questioned for his fundraising activities and his alleged links to the Taliban.
