The election battle in Bihar saw a new player entering the battleground on Saturday. Assaduddin Owaisi’s Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) announced its decision to content the upcoming polls in the North Eastern Seemanchal region of Bihar.
The party seems to have chosen to contest in Seemanchal as it consists of significant Muslim population in its four districts, comprising of 24 assembly seats.
