Ukraine’s new government under the interim Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk takes charge on Thursday along with his Pro-US cabinet. Over 25,000 people were gathered in Independence Square in Kiev to cheer the new government.
The United States have assured $1 billion loan to revive economic crisis in the Ukraine as well as it has issued a warming to Russia.
US secretary of state, John Kerry said if Russia goes ahead with military intervention in Ukraine then it would be a “grave mistake.”
“I want to underscore to everybody that this is not ‘Rocky 4’. It is not a zero-sum game,” Kerry said.
Tensions between US led west and Moscow has been escalated as the Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered military drills on Wednesday near the Ukrainian border.
Meanwhile pro-Russian ousted president Viktor Yanukovych is still missing and search operations have begun. It is widely believed that Yanukovych is hiding in Crimea with his two sons and armed guards.
