Yu televentures the online subsidiary of Micromax has made their foray into the offline brick and mortar stores. The phone is priced at Rs. 13,499 and is already available in stores.
Display
The phone has a 6 inch Full HD (1920 X 1080p) display panel protected by corning’s gorilla glass 3.
Hardware
The phone derives all the power from an octa-core Mediatek MT6753T, which is clocked at 1.5 GHz. There is 3 GB RAM, along with 16 GB of onboard storage and a Micro SD expansion slot.
Camera
A 13 megapixel rear camera with PDAF and dual-LED flash is provided in the Note to keep the shutterbugs happy while a 5 megapixel front selfie camera with wide angle lens would suffice for all those who love clicking selfies.
Software
The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 lollipop with a pretty stock UI, without a lot of bloatware.
Misc.
To power the device there is a 4,000 mAh battery, which should last for about a day of normal usage.
There is also quick charge support to quickly charge the battery.
Connectivity options include dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG support.
There is also a finger print scanner at the rear of the phone.
