Tata Motors on Thursday launches much-anticipated the Zest – its first vehicle based on the ‘DesigNext, DriveNext, ConnectNext’ mantra.
The car has been designed jointly by three design studios of Tata Motors – Pune, Conventry (UK) and Turin (Italy).
Powered by the all new Revotron 1.2-litre petrol turbo-engine and a 1.3-litre multijet diesel units, the Zest comes with high-tech Harman Infotainment system with 8 Speakers HVAC control, customized follow me headlamps, remote for passengers at the rear seat, voice messaging and voice recognition features. It has The Electronic Power-steering Projector Headlamps, LED DRLs, wrap-around tail-lamps and 15″ alloy wheels.
Tata claims that the Petrol model would deliver 18Km/l mileage while the Diesel variant will give 23Km/l mileage.
Tata claims it provides remarkable safety features in that Zest, driven by next-gen ABS with EBD and Corner Stability Control.
Zest is available in three trims – ECO, City and Sport. With Zest, Tata Motors offers 3 years of 1 lakh KMs warranty coverage, 3 Years or 45,000 KMs AMC and 3 Years Road Side Assistance.
