Datsun launches GO+ MPV in India at Rs 3.79 lakh

Japanese automobile giant Datsun has launched Datsun GO+ MPV in India at Rs 3.79 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).

This second low-budget car was first unveiled in India at the 2014 Auto Expo. Datsun GO+ has come up in four variants and a single engine option.

The Go+ is a widening version of their premium hatchback Go with 3.99-metres in length and has a wheelbase of 2.45-metres.

With 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine which provides 67bhp and 10.61kgm of torque, Datsun Go+ is also the first compact seven-seater in the country. It has a mated five-speed manual gearbox.

With attractive pricing, the Go+ is set to fuel the heated competition in the MPV segment in India. Go+ will likely to take on its direct competitors like Maruti Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Nissan Evalia and the Chevrolet Enjoy.
