iBall has brought the Slide i701 to the Indian markets recently and it is priced at Rs. 4,999. The Tab runs on Windows 8.1. iBall is calling it “world’s most economical Windows tablet,” and it will be available across all leading Online as well as offline portals.
The Slide i701 Runs on Windows 8.1 out-of-the-box and will be upgradable to Windows 10 once it comes out later this year. The tab comes with a Free 1 year subscription of Microsoft office and 1 TB of free OneDrive storage.
As of the Specifications go the Tab houses a 7 inch IPS Display panel of unknown resolution, Under the hood, it’s powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor chipset of unknown model and clock speed. There is 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal Storage which can be expanded up to 32 Gb with the help of a Micro SD card.
The tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for video calling. There is a 3,200 mAh battery to run the show. The tablet also offers connectivity options such as an HDMI port, USB with OTG functionality, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, as well as 3G via USB dongle.
The Slide i701 will come with brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor’s autograph on the rear panel, a free HDMI cable worth Rs. 699, and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs. 599.
At this price the Slide i701 will be a really nice offering from iBall, it has a few competitors in the price range but none that come with windows.
