Fiat is all set to cancel its dealership business with Tata Motors as the Italian car manufacturer unwilling to renew their tie-up beyond 2015.
Tata Motors is currently accountable for the sales and service of Fiat cars in India and Fiat is struggling with poor performance for longer period. Fiat sales were surprisingly down 15% last year at 21,066 units while the overall car market had expanded 30%.
Fiat wants to check with other big Indian companies in coming days for new venture possibilities as well as they trying to check if they can run their business independently.
