Dinosaur 13 – the documentary based on an infuriating tale of governmental persecution following a record-shattering discovery of a fossil, has raised brows after its premier at Sundance. It is a tale of T. rex named Sue and the man who loved her.
With engaging characters and impeccable detailed information without lagging the pace of the story a bit – Miller portrayed how the good guys get dragged through the mud and some very undeserving people get rich. But, he left the thing half-cooked. May be it was required to limit the length to already lengthy 106 minutes.
Miller also showed the philosophical disagreements between academic paleontologists and those, like BHI, who dig up fossils to sell to people.
Lionsgate and CNN Films acquired the North American rights for the documentary. The film will have a broadcast premiere on CNN and will also be released in theaters.
