‘The Tonight Show’ is already going viral due to its late-night talks and the inaugural Lip-sync segment it aired on Thursday gained tons of hits and likes. Guess why? Due to the spinning performance of The Rock wherein he did something really very astounding.
On Thursday was the premiere episode of the Lip-Sync Battle on the American channel Spike TV. The show is hosted by famous rapper and actor LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen.
Fast and Furious fame, former professional wrestler and the owner of the bulky muscles and charming smile- all these titles are synonymous with Dwayne Johnson. Was this less, that now he has added one more to this list and that title is of Lip-sync Champion.
In Thursday`s episode, Jimmy Fallon and Dwayne Johnson were competing against each other. To start the show, The Rock mimed Taylor Swift`s famous song ‘Shake it Off’ and did it very well with his smooth WWE moves and gestures. To beat this strong performance, Fallon presented Harry Belafonte’s “Jump in the Line” and Maddona`s “Like a Prayer.”
But all Jimmy`s efforts were put down when Johnson came up with his invincible performance of The Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive.” With this amusing rendition, Dwayne fixed his victory and finally won the battle.
A ‘behind the scenes’ video showed Dwayne undergoing rigorous training, practicing with his lip movements and yodeling in front of the mirror. All his hard work paid off in true sense.
