In a recent survey made by the Website Play.com, these scenes have been found to be the scariest. The hosts made a step-by-step process to find out the result. First, they received the vote for the scariest movie. And, then used heart rate monitors to find out which scenes delivered the greatest chills.
The Shining scored the scariest scene with A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Exorcist in second and third place respectively.
The three scariest moments thus deduced are –
