Matt Damon starrer “Elysium” to hit India on 23rd August

This time, Neill Blomkampthe maker of District 9 came up with a futuristic thriller “Elysium” that hit the US theatres last weekend. The much awaited thriller starring the Bourne-star Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, though received mixed reviews, collected a whooping 41.4 million USD from 17 international markets including US.

Set in a dystopian future of 2159 AD – the film plays a cautionary shocker, where two distinct classes exist – affluent, who stay on the elite man-made space outstation and the rest, who lived on the overpopulated, grim, poverty-ridden earth. And, there started the life threatening mission of Max (Matt Damon to bring equality to these severely polarized worlds.

Mastered by the Oscar nominee filmmaker, the film craved huge expectation worldwide. Amidst the big releases like Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara – Elysium is slated for release in India on 23^rd August. It will be released in both Hindi and English.
