Ian McKellen’s First Look for Mr. Holmes

Veteran Hollywood actor Ian Mckellen revealed his first look on Twitter as ageing detective Sherlock Holmes in director Bill Condon’s upcoming film Mr. Holmes.

“Over 70 actors have previously played Sherlock Holmes. Now he’s 93-years-old and it’s my turn. #MrHolmes,” wrote Mckellen.

Earlier the film was titled A Slight Trick of the Mind but now it is called Mr. Holmes in which McKellen will play the famous detective who is involving in solving an old and cold case.

Based on Mitch Cullin novel, Mr. Holmes revolves around retired private investigator Sherlock Holmes who has been haunted by a fifty year old unsolved case. But this time without his long-time ally Watson, he faces one of the toughest cases of his life.
