Cannes CountDown : Gael Garcia – A Jury

Gael Garcia Bernal, the Mexican actor famous for Amorres Perros or Babel or Y Tu Mama Tambien is  in jury for the festival’s Competition section. He has been watching films from all around the world over the past two weeks along with his fellow jurors, a group that includes Jane Campion, Sofia Coppola and Willem Dafoe.

He also out-of-competition entry “El Ardor,” an unconventional western pastiche set in the Argentinean rain forest. He also stars in Pablo Fendrik’s visually compelling narrative independent film.
